Tribeca Festival Unveils 2027 Dates and Submission Guidelines

Following a highly successful 25th-anniversary celebration, the Tribeca Festival has confirmed its return for a 26th installment, scheduled to captivate audiences from June 3 to June 12, 2027. This announcement marks an exciting continuation for the festival, which remains a pivotal platform for emerging and established voices in cinema and beyond. Creators across various mediums are now invited to submit their works, encompassing an expansive range of categories designed to celebrate diverse storytelling.

The submission window is officially open for numerous programming sections, including feature films, short films, and music videos, alongside specialized tracks for Tribeca TV, digital creators, gaming, podcasts, and Tribeca X, which focuses on branded entertainment. The previous festival set a new benchmark with an impressive 104 feature film world premieres and hosted over 240 live events. Notable moments from the anniversary edition included Bruce Springsteen receiving the Harry Belafonte award, a compelling discussion and performance featuring Bono and Patti Smith, and the debuts of significant works such as Madonna's "Confessions II" cinematic experience, Katy Perry's concert documentary "The Lifetimes Tour: Live From Paris," the romantic comedy "Happy Hours" starring Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson, the AI-powered Iranian film "Dreams of Violets," and the powerful Margo Martindale-led drama "The Long Haul."
