The opening match of the showpiece will take place at Gujarat’s Narendra Modi, also known as the Narendra Modi Stadium.

ICC Men’s ODI World Cup hot spots: Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram. The 2023 World Cup will be held in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata. The BCCI has announced a total of 12 venues for the upcoming 2023 World Cup. India will play their first match against Australia in Chennai on October 8 at 2 pm. The next match between India and Afghanistan will take place in New Delhi on October 14. The biggest cricket match (India vs Pakistan) will be played in Ahmedabad on October 14. October 19 is the day of India vs Bangladesh in Pune, New Zealand will meet the Indian team in Dharmashala on October 22. India vs England will be played in Lucknow on October 29. Mumbai will host India’s match against Sri Lanka on November 2. India will meet South Africa in Kolkata on November 5. India’s match against the Netherlands will take place on November 11 in Banglore.

World Cup 2023 Team India’s 15-man squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj.

The opening match and closing match of the marquee event will take place in Gujarat’s Motera Stadium also known as Narendra Modi Stadium. Semi-final of World Cup 2023 will be in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
