Alphabet's capital expenditures are projected to reach between $195 billion and $205 billion for 2026, a significant increase from $91 billion in 2025 and $53 billion in 2024. The second quarter alone saw capital expenditure hit $45 billion, doubling the previous year's figure and resulting in a $5.9 billion free cash flow deficit for the quarter.
